Does Wal-Mart breed hate groups?

The concentration of “big-box” retail stores, such as K-Mart, Wal-Mart or Target, in the US correlates with the number of hate groups in a designated area, a new study has found.

The paper’s authors argue that the presence of such stores has a more significant influence on hate group participation than unemployment or low education rates.
