How we’ve expanded our Quarter Life series

Since early 2022, we’ve been working on a series called Quarter Life. So far, we’ve produced more than 100 articles, each filled with academic research and expertise on the issues affecting those of us in our twenties and thirties.

More recently, we’ve developed a mini-series called Fail Better. It’s all about failure: how to cope, how to move on and more. We set expectations for the careers we’ll forge, the relationships we’ll foster (romantic and platonic) and the experiences we’ll have. But sometimes, things don’t go quite the way we were hoping. These bumps in the road can seem like failures, especially when we compare ourselves to the people around us and online. This series has been turned into an exclusive e-book for donors.

You can now also text The Conversation. Every week, we’ll text you articles from our series, Quarter Life, to help you fight the Sunday Scaries and prepare for the week ahead. We’d also love to know what life questions you have that we can ask our experts to answer. When you join our text chat, you can send us a message and let us know how we can help. You can sign up here.

To receive your free copy of our Fail Better e-book and help ensure The Conversation remains independent, free, and publishing the facts on the next vital story, consider becoming a monthly donor.
