Brac University
BRAC University has been established to provide a high quality of education to meet the demands of the modern age. BRAC University is ‘not for profit’ institution accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh.
It is supported by BRAC, one of the largest non-government development organizations in the world. It works in a number of closely related areas such as poverty alleviation, rural health care and non-formal education among many others to bring about socio-economic changes for a large number of people, mostly women and children, whose lives are dominated by extreme poverty, illiteracy, disease and malnutrition.
