Universitas Padjadjaran

Padjadjaran is a state university in Bandung, Indonesia. It was founded in 1957 to answer society’s demand for a university that provides a wide range of disciplines. Bandung was the host for Asia-Africa Conference in 1955.

The name “Padjadjaran” is taken from the name of the Kingdom of Sunda, by King Siliwangi or King Dewantaprana Maharaja Sri Baduga Pakuan Padjadjaran (1473-1513 AD).
