The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RENS) is an All-Russian scientific organization that unites naturalists and humanitarians elected as its Full Members (Academicians) or as Corresponding Members.
The academy brings together scientists from all directions driven by a common desire to promote the expression of the creative personality, the development of education, the expansion of basic and applied research, and the development of of civil society in Russia.
The main principles underlying the activities of the academy are democratic, self-governing and independent.
