University of Parma

The University of Parma (Università degli Studi di Parma, UNIPR) is one of the oldest universities in the world. Founded in the 12th century, it is organised into 18 departments covering arts and humanities, economics, law and social studies, medicine and veterinary science as well as maths, physics and pharmacy.

There are 25,000 students at the University of Parma and around 1,900 faculty and staff members.
