Is human noise ruining ‘the mood’ for wildlife?

Physiological stress and reproductive success in some species have been found to be unaffected, or very little affected by human noise such as traffic and roads.

The Florida Scrub Jay was observed both in inner scrub regions and near to a road that passed through the site, and indicators of the differently resided birds differed little.

Research into human disturbance of flora and fauna is important in conservation, especially of endangered species.
