Sex workers in NSW are among the healthiest in the world, new research shows.
According to the University of NSW, condom use in the NSW sex industry approaches 100%, while the prevalence of four sexually transmitted infections, including gonorrhea and chlamydia, is at least as low as in the general population.
The study attributed the well being of NSW sex workers to the decriminilisation of brothels in NSW.
