Cameron Harrington

Postdoctoral Fellow, Global Risk Governance Programme, University of Cape Town

Dr. Cameron Harrington is the 2014-15 Global Change and Sustainability Postdoctoral Fellow in the Global Risk Governance Programme at The University of Cape Town. His current research investigates environmental security, focusing on collaborative water governance. He is currently writing his first book, Environmental Security in the Anthropocene, to be published in 2016. Dr. Harrington was awarded a PhD in Political Science from Western University [Canada] in 2014 and from 2010-2013 he was an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Western University, Brescia University College, and King's University College [Canada]. His recent work has been published in Critical Studies on Security, the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal, The Woodrow Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Programme, and The Oxford Research Group's Sustainable Security Programme.
