In addition to higher education instruction throughout the Greater Boston area, I am also the author of American Comic Books, Literary Theory, and Religion: The Superhero Afterlife, as well as the co-editor of both Graven Images: Religion in Comic Books and Graphic Novels, and Digital Death: Mortality and Beyond in the Online Age. I serve as an Editorial Board Member for The International Journal of Comic Art and on the Steering Committee of the American Academy of Religion's "Death, Dying, and Beyond Group." I've been featured in The Boston Globe, Publishers Weekly Comics Week, Bostonia and on WAMU’s Interfaith Voices, VH-1, and Boston’s NPR affiliate WBUR.
