Postdoctoral Fellow in Human Ecology, Charles Darwin University

I use the tools and methods of historical ecology, human geography, remote sensing, and modelling to link human social systems to landscape-scale ecological processes. For the past ten years I have been living in the Top End of Australia. My geographical focus has been principally in Kakadu National Park and my research has ranged across both social and natural systems. I have studied diverse projects ranging from my PhD research on this history of landscape change in Kakadu and how different actors have perceived that change, to my current postdoctoral position focusing on the spread and management of invasive species across the Top End.
