Abi O'Connor

Abi is currently studying for her PhD which explores the political economy of stigmatisation in Liverpool and the impacts on governance and policy. Previous research has focused on the impacts of state sanctioned urban regeneration initiatives that oversee the extraction of finkncialised capital from stigmatised spaces, and the politics of truth in the aftermath of the Hillsborough Disaster (1989).
