Acacia Pepler is a climatologist at the Bureau of Meteorology's National Climate Centre. The Climate Monitoring section is responsible for the preparation and analysis of Australia's instrumental climate record. It is also responsible for the official reporting of observed climate variability and change in Australia and on collaboration with international agencies.

She is currently completing her PhD at the University of New South Wales Climate Change Research Centre, where she studies extreme rainfall and East Coast Lows in both observations and regional climate models. She has a Bachelor of Science from Macquarie University, majoring in physics and atmospheric science, as well as a Master of Philosophy on radar meteorology.
