Adeeba Nuraina Risha

Research associate, Brac University

Adeeba Nuraina Risha is an environmental researcher with a specific focus on climate change, environmental policies, and sustainable development. She has been working in the development sector of Bangladesh for over three years in qualitative research and analysis. Currently working at BRAC Institute of Governance (BIGD), BRAC University, she has also worked with International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD).
Adeeba has completed her master’s degree from University of Nottingham, UK in Environmental Leadership and Management, and bachelors on Environmental Science from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). . Adeeba’s published co-authored researches include high-density population and displacement in Bangladesh, published in American Association for the Advancement of Science and Perceptions of climate change across different climatic-risk zones in Bangladesh” published in Agriculture for Development, Tropical Agriculture Association, UK. Adeeba is interested in researching on varied impacts of climate change, and gender and environment.
