Researcher, Division of Building and Real Estate Economics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology

I am a researcher at the Division of Building and Real Estate Economics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. I received my master's degree from Poznan University of Economics, Poland. During 200-2007 I lived in Singapore and there I received an MBA in International Business (Southern Cross University). I was awarded my Ph.D from the Royal Institute of Technology in 2013. Research project and findings are presented in scientific papers and my dissertation "In the business of building green".

I acquired my certificate as a Passive House Consultant (The Passive House Institute, Darmstadt) and I am a certified assessor for the Swedish environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings Miljöbyggnad.

I have great interest in sustainable development, green buildings, energy-efficient buildings, post-occupancy evaluation (POE) and property management. At present I'm involved in several projects: value of green infrastructure in sustainable urban development; consumer and occupant pro-environmental choice and behaviour in the Swedish and Australia housing markets; and digital adoption and value creation in real estate management – a system perspective.

I have the privilege of being part of the team KTH Live-in-Lab and cooperate in research projects with UTS and SSE.
