Ahmad Beltagui is a Lecturer at Aston Business School, in Birmingham. His research is focused on the role of design in business innovation as well as the design of services and service business models. He has studied varied contexts, from the monetisation of online games services to how additive manufacturing can form part of a service strategy.
He is currently PI on a British Academy funded project concerned with understanding how 3D printing and makerspaces contribute to demoratisation of innovation. He has worked on projects funded by national and European funding programmes.
Ahmad's research has been published in highly rated journals in the areas of Operations Management and Innovation. His media appearances include BBC World Service and Huffington Post.
