Lecturer in Project and Operations Managment, Aston University

Ahmad Beltagui is a Lecturer at Aston Business School, in Birmingham. His research is focused on how design is used in business and management, particularly in the use of 3D printing and the development of service business models.

He is currently PI on the British Academy funded project concerned with understanding how 3D printing and makerspaces contribute to demoratisation of innovation. He has worked on projects funded by national and European funding programmes.

Ahmad's research has been published in highly rated journals in the areas of Operations Management and Innovation. His media appearances include BBC World Service and Huffington Post.
