Alan Thomas Kennedy-Asser

Research Associate in Climate Science, University of Bristol

Alan Kennedy-Asser is a climate scientist focused on the past and future UK climate, heat stress and associated health impacts as part of the UK Climate Resilience Program funded OpenCLIM project.

He completed his MSc in 2014 and his PhD in 2019, both in geography at the University of Bristol. His previous research interests have included palaeoclimatology, glacial hydrology and Antarctic climate.

He is passionate about science communication and outreach, having worked for the University of Bristol Public Engagement Team on activities ranging from science fairs to art exhibitions, podcasts to paintings.
