Lecturer, RMIT University

Alex De Foe is an expert in perception and consciousness, focusing on altered states as evaluated via a range of modern technologies; not limited to the induction of out-of-body experiences, transcendental/transpersonal processes, and psycho-spiritual voyages with the aid of dynamic meditation and active imagination.

Alex has published on a broad spectrum of topics within these areas, and is currently refining his research focus to embed human lifespan development and optimal thriving as an oberarching model of consciousness; especially as understood by way of free energy minimisation and minimal phenomenal selfhood.

He works across Monash University, RMIT University, and the Emergent Phenomenology Research Consortium as a researcher, lecturer, and mentor/coach.

He holds a phd in perception and masters in counselling.
