Alexander Hunter

Lecturer in Music, Australian National University

Dr Alexander Hunter studied composition, jazz and classical double bass, viola da gamba and ethnomusicology at Northern Illinois University, and received a PhD in composition from Edinburgh Napier University, and currently lectures at the Australian National University. His work as a composer and performer is based on open works, which encourage a fluid relationship between composer, score and performer.
