Alexander Tziamalis

Senior Lecturer in Economics (Associate Professor), Sheffield Hallam University

Alex studied Economics (BSc and MSc) in Athens, Greece, and Social Psychology (MA) at London School of Economics. His PhD research was on skilled migration to the UK, funded by the University of Sheffield.

Before taking up a lectureship post at Sheffield Hallam University, Alex worked as an Analyst for the UK government for three years.

His teaching and articles are in the areas of Macroeconomics and Behavioural Economics.

Alex has been nominated by his students as an inspirational tutor every year since 2012.
