My research examines the relationship between human behaviour and brain structure. As an evolutionary neuroscientist, I investigate relationships between primate behaviour and brain structure using phylogenetic comparative methods. My research into the emergence of human cognition draws from fossil, archaeological, and genetic evidence. Most recently I have been developing an evolutionary neuroscience approach to apply evolutionary theory for understanding well-being in built and natural environments.
