PhD Researcher, Cardiff University

Visit my personal website www.aleydisnissen.com for the latest updates.

Originally from Belgium, I moved overseas to become a researcher in international and European law in 2016. Right now, I am completing my PhD thesis which has been funded by Cardiff University's School of Law and Politics. My thesis examines the extent to which EU member states regulate accountability of transnational corporations from developing and emerging countries for human rights violations. I have recently returned from field research journeys in Kenya and South Korea. The University of Nairobi and Seoul National University hosted me as a guest researcher.
