Ali Aljasem

Ali is a PhD candidate at the Center for Conflict Studies focusing on paramilitary groups and civilian perpetration of violence in the context of the conflict and war since 2011. He has academic publications as well as op-ed contributions. Previously, Ali worked in the field of mediation for the Dialogue Advisory Group in Amsterdam and as a security analyst for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Aleppo and Barcelona.
