Alison Rutherford

Dr Alison Rutherford (she/her) is a sexual health physician at Illawarra Sexual Health Service and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong. She has extensive experience in clinical sexual and reproductive health, health care education and policy development. Alison runs a public clinic in adult transgender medicine and is co-founder of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Gender Alliance. Alison and her colleagues have introduced LGBTI+ content in the curriculum of the Graduate Medical School at UOW and into education for GPs and other health professionals.
