I am Professor of Physics at the University of Bath. I am also Coordinator of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network Destiny: DyE SensiTIzed solar cells with eNhanced stabilitY. I lead the Bath node of the Supersolar hub funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. I am the Academic Director of the Centre for Doctoral Training in New and Sustainable PV, CDT-PV funded by the EPSRC. And I am Coordinator of the Horizon2020 research project Extmos.

EXTMOS is a €5 million collaborative research project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 646176. Twelve partners from industry and academia across Europe are using world-leading computational modelling techniques to theoretically predict which of the myriad of possible materials will work best as organic semiconductors, so that only the most promising ones will need to be made for experimental testing. http://extmos.eu

My research interests include: computer modelling of motion of charges and energy in organic and hybrid organic-inorganic devices for displays, lighting and solar power.
