Allan Sacha Brun

I am an Astrophysicst, Director of Research at CEA Paris-Saclay, Head of the Laboratory Dynamics of Stars, Exo-planets and their Environment (LDE3) within the Department of Astrophysics (DAp) part of the Institute of Research into the Fundamental Laws of the Universe (IRFU) of the Fundamental Research Division (DRF) of CEA. DAp is via its Unité Mixte de Recherche (UMR) AIM a joint CEA, University of Paris 7 Denis-Diderot and CNRS/INSU department.
I am a world expert on the Sun, Stars, Astrophysical fluid dynamics, MHD, Plasmas Physics, Star-Planet interactions, Convection, Turbulence, Dynamo, Stellar Wind and Space Weather. I develop and perform high performance 3-D numerical simulations of astrophysical objects. I publish scientific articles as well as outreach articles for scientific magazines such as Astronomie, La Recherche, Science & Vie.
