Alyssa Morris is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Southern California. Her research interests revolve around how perinatal and early-life risk and protective factors affect child development. She is interested in understanding both biological and environmental contributions to development, including the role of genetics, parental stress, and parent-child bonding. Alyssa recently launched the Coronavirus, Health, Isolation, and Resilience during Pregnancy (CHIRP) study alongside Dr. Darby Saxbe to assess the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the perinatal experience.
