Amanda Mascarelli

Amanda was a 2020-2021 Ted Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado, where she spent the academic year studying health disparities. From 2015 to 2020, she was the founding managing editor of Sapiens, an award-winning digital magazine focused on anthropology. Her writing has been published in National Geographic, Nature, Science, Science News for Students, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
