Amanda is a Yandruwandha and Yawarrawarrka woman, an Associate Lecturer and early career researcher at the ANU. Amanda has worked in various areas of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health for more than 15 years.

Amanda teaches at the Australian National University, Medical School, ANU College of Health and Medicine, as the Associate Lecturer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health. Previously Amanda has guest lectured at University of Western Australia (UWA) School of Medicine (2014-2017); University of Queensland (UQ) School of Public Health (2011); Queensland University of Technology (QUT) School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences (2007).
