A/Prof Lykins primary research interests are in the following areas: climate change, natural hazards, and mental health; human-animal interactions (including animal-assisted therapy), the “meat paradox,” and the environmental and moral issues related to meat eating and associated intensive farming practices. A/Prof Lykins also has interests in cognition (primarily visual attention) and sexual interest/orientation and various other aspects of human sexuality.
