Anastasia Hronis

Clinical Psychologist, University of Technology Sydney

Anastasia Hronis is a clinical psychologist, concert pianist, and lecturer. Anastasia completed a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney and a Master of Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Technology Sydney. She has completed her PhD in the area of mental health treatments for children with disabilities.

The author has published government reports and peer reviewed journal articles on the topic of gambling and responsible gambling, and was recently involved as an expert advisor in the development of a harm minimisation responsible online gambling campaign.

As a concert pianist, she has performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House seven times, with her first appearance at the age of four. Since then she has gone on to win over 60 first place prizes in numerous competitions, and perform at various recitals. She has been awarded her Associate Diploma in Music (AMusA) and Licentiate Diploma in Music (LMusA) in piano. In 2015, Anastasia made her debut at Carnegie Hall, New York.
