Andrea Garner

Andrea is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at UNB. Andrea has been a teacher for 22 years across settings ranging from preschool to high school and post-secondary to outdoor therapeutic recreation. She has taken on teaching and leadership roles in education while living and working in Canada, Scotland, England, and Australia. Andrea has an extensive history of working alongside neurodivergent youth and individuals experiencing disadvantage and/or marginalization. She is involved in a number of action research projects using participatory methods in community and/or school settings.
