Andreea L. Cojocaru has a bachelor's degree in actuarial studies and a master's degree in statistics from the University of Toronto, Canada. She also has a master's degree in finance and actuarial studies from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.

Cojocaru has worked with risk management in the insurance industry in Belgium and biostatistics at the SickKids Hospital in Toronto. She now has a postdoctoral position at the University of Stavanger Business School.
