Andrew is an urban sociologist whose primary areas of research are urban governance, social policy, homelessness and other forms of housing related disadvantage. Andrew is currently researching responses to visible homelessness in Queensland cities. This work examines how agencies with diverse responsibilities--ranging from police, to local government, to social and health services--coordinate their engagements with the homeless population (or fail to), and the outcomes that this has for people experiencing homelessness.
