Andrew King-Ries

Professor of Criminal Law, University of Montana

Andrew King-Ries is a professor at the Blewett School of Law at the University of Montana. He teaches Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Domestic Violence, Juvenile Justice, Race and Racism, clinic, and Law & Literature.

Prior to becoming a professor, he was a prosecutor, specializing in domestic violence cases, for the King County Prosecutor's Office in Seattle, Washington.

Professor King-Ries graduated from Brown University and received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis.

Professor King-Ries is a member of the American Bar Association's Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence. He currently serves as a member of the Just Response Sexual Assualt Resource Center Advisory Board.
