Andrew Renaut

Associate Professor of Surgery, Bond University

Dr Andrew Renaut is a specialist colorectal and general surgeon, based in Brisbane. He trained in the UK, USA and Australia, including a dedicated period of research resulting in a Masters of Surgery and a thesis entitled ‘immune mechanisms in cancer’. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic colorectal and general surgery, and also colonoscopy and gastroscopy

Dr Renaut is also a media entrepreneur and is passionate about teaching. In addition to being a Professor of Surgery at Shandong University in China and Associate Professor of Surgery at Bond University he has established, and is director of, several media ventures and online education forums including: Online Medical (web design), Videosurgery (webcasting, video and e-learning production) and the Australian Institute of Medical Education
