Andrew (he/him) earned his PhD in Management with a concentration in Health Systems from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. Andrew's doctoral research proposed a novel decision-making theory that incorporates a cultural worldviews perspective to explain how people make different preventative medicine decisions that are 'rational'. His other areas of research interest include: health economic evaluation, innovation, and weight-of-evidence in decision-making.

Andrew earned his Masters of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University. Prior to starting doctoral studies Andrew was a Research Associate for the Ivery International Centre for Health Innovation at the Ivey Business School at Western University. His research with the Ivey Business School is predominantly focused on innovation adoption and commercialization strategy.

Outside of the classroom Andrew earned the distinction of an Canadian Inter-University Sport (CIS) Academic All Canadian and competed in both waterpolo and swimming at a varsity level. Having been actively involved in leadership positions across various organizations, Andrew has led multiple change management strategies and group facilitations for over 1,000 student volunteers and has overseen funding raising efforts that have grossed >$170,000 in revenue.
