Former senior manager turned PhD candidate and scholarship holder with Queensland University of Technology. I am conducting scientific research investigating the influence personality (particularly extraversion-introversion) has on the relationship between leadership and mental forecasts of future emotions, and the associated psychological consequences of the leadership experience (e.g. anxiety, depression, stress, positive emotion, etc.). I draw heavily from the neuroscience and evolutionary psychology disciplines to assist me in my research program. Prior to embarking on my scientific career, I have had 15 years in commercial analyst and middle/senior management positions across a range of industries in Australia and New Zealand.
