Dr Andrew Wroe is a senior lecturer in American politics at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.

His current research interests include the American presidency, political polarisation and why people don't trust government. He has written, edited and contributed to many books and articles on US politics, including on the politics of immigration reform, the Republican party, George W. Bush and Donald J. Trump. He is the co-chair of the UK Political Studies Association American Politics Group.
