Andy Higginbottom

BSc in Sociology and Economics. My PhD is in Criminology for a thesis on multinational corporations and human rights in Colombia. I write on development and underdevelopment, and Marxist theory. My current research interests are on extractivism in Southern Africa and Latin America. I am a solidarity activist, in the 1980s I was Secretary of the City of London Anti-Apartheid Group, and I am currently a member of the Marikana Solidarity Collective and the Colombia Solidarity Campaign.
