I am a scientist with a background in microbiology, biotechnology and a research focus on food microbiology. During my study period and research career I have been inspired by one principal question: How can scientific insight in the field of microbiology drive innovations and improve our food? I have followed this master line by using my microbiology skills to solve diverse applied problems. My scientific career has revolved around lactic acid bacteria, most of the time in dairy applied projects.
