My main research interests are transportation studies (specifically, travel behavior: trip chaining, commuting), travel demand modeling, medical geography (race disparities in health outcomes in women), urban processes (employment centers, Memphis Aerotropolis, land use, retail sustainability).

I also study the impacts of environment (proximity to stationary and mobile sources) upon women's health and educational performance among elementary, middle, and high school students of Shelby County Schools, TN

I apply GIS and quantitative techniques in my research.
