Angelique Nairn

Dr Angelique Nairn is a senior lecturer in Communication Studies at Auckland University of Technology. There she specialises in teaching public relations and intercultural communication. Her doctoral thesis explored how the everyday communications of religious organisations could produce the conditions for identification and lead to the construction of members’ identities. Her more recent publications continue to centre on identity, but her interests have extended to include human rights, gender, morality, creative work, digital platforms and popular culture.
