Angsana A. Techatassanasoontorn

Angsana A. Techatassanasoontorn is a Professor of Information Systems at the Auckland University of Technology. Angsana’s aspiration is to play a role in cultivating a human-centred purpose of digital technology for all. Her primary fields of interest are IT use, social inclusion, emerging technologies and their societal implications. Areas of key concerns in her research investigation include an individual's subjective well-being, inclusion, and positive and negative consequences of digital transformations. Her work has appeared in information systems and technology policy journals such as AIS Transactions on HCI, Information & Management, Information Systems Journal, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and Telecommunications Policy. Her research has been supported by grants from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Commonwealth Fund Foundation, Microsoft, the U.S. National Science Foundation, and Qualcomm, among others.
