Clinical Professor of Primary Care Education, Queen Mary University of London

I am inner city GP and Professor of Primary Care Education at Barts and The London Medical School. My academic focus is developing the exceptional potential of educational opportunities in primary care and general practice, and incorporating social justice and public engagement into the training of health professionals. I have an MA and doctorate in Education,

I work with third sector organisations supporting unpaid carers, and, previously with survivors of torture, trafficking and modern day slavery. I have international educational development experience principally in Spain, Latin America and currently in the Middle East – which allows me to make links between the global and the local in my teaching and research.
