Anita Spinks

As a retired teacher, I'm a woman of very strong opinions. I endeavor to temper these strong opinions by being fair minded, at least to the best of my ability.

Issues I consider really important include AGW, treatment of refugees and wealth distribution. All forms of intolerance press my buttons and are likely to generate a response. Irrational claims are also a source of great irritation and I feel the need to right the wrongs of erroneous and superstitious thinking at every turn.

I have a personal interest in words and their etymology and I lead a film appreciation group discussing current films.
