Assistant Professor, Psychology, Queen's University, Ontario

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Economics at Queen’s University. My lab studies human decision-making in various domains (e.g., altruism, dietary behaviour, consumer choices). We are particularly interested in the processes that drive differences in decisions across people, context, and time. To better understand the mechanisms that drive human decisions, we employ a variety of techniques (ranging from computer experiments, measures of eye movements to imaging of brain structure and function) together with computational modelling approaches. Before coming to Queen’s, I completed my Ph.D. in Psychology in Berlin (Germany). I continued my research as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Max-Planck Institute for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (Germany) and at the California Institute of Technology (USA).
