Anna de Bakker is a post-doctoral researcher on the Digital Analysis of Chant Transmission project through Dalhousie University, and also works with the Distributed Digital Music Archives & Libraries Lab at McGill.
She received her PhD in Medieval Studies at the University of Notre Dame, where her research used several musical manuscripts from thirteenth-century Belgium to analyze how religious communities used music to express their shared history.
