Anna Zecharia

Dr Anna Y Zecharia is a postdoctoral neuroscientist at Imperial College London. Her research interests include understanding the neuronal pathways that control and produce natural sleep, and how anaesthetic and sedative drugs may interact with them to produce unconsciousness.

Anna is also a Director at ScienceGrrl, where she leads on strategy, communications and policy engagement. ScienceGrrl is a grassroots organisation that celebrates and supports women in science, technology, engineering and maths as well as working to inspire the next generation with visible and accessible role models.
