Dr Thorup is a pharmacologist and molecular biologist with main research interests in musculoskeletal regeneration. During her PhD she discovered that blocking the receptor ROR2 improves the outcome of osteoarthritis. Her aim is to develop medicines that can slow, or halt disease progression.
